This is a very basic layout for a horror poster it is very clinical with the white simple back ground which makes the writing stand out and give it more of an impact to the viewer and it maybe gives the impression that the tortured looking leg may have been 'Saw' off this gives the viewer of the poster what kind of niche this particular horror film with fit into which in this case is torture porn, which is one of the newest types of horror films about. Stereotypically in a horror poster you will see a villain or maybe even the prey for the villain (Main characters) and as this is the first of the Saw Franchise sequel we do not know the main features of the story line and we do not know who the villains are in it yet, this again makes us wonder what it could be and draws people in to watch it so that they can find out for themselves because it really doesn't give much of the film away like a lot of other horror posters.
